At that time, there were no comprehensive publications on his production, especially on his production in France. The aim of the lectures was to systematize a long-term perspective of the History of Architecture from production, that is, architecture inserted in the field of construction, and in turn, within the field of political economy. The text had a limited distribution as it was published by GFAU students; however, it is a text with a more palatable language, precisely because of the colloquial tone of the lectures. The event where the lectures were given was promoted by the Department of History of Architecture and Project Aesthetics and the S\u00e3o Paulo section of the Institute of Architects of Brazil (IAB).
