Description: After 32 years of his departure, Sérgio Ferro was invited by a group of students from FAU for an open conversation that took place on February 27, 2002. This publication, along with the video, records this 'conversation,' one of the few 'testimonies' given by Sérgio since he stopped being a professor at the school. This text is the result of the transcription of the tapes, and in the transition from spoken language to written language, adjustments were made to facilitate reading. However, as Sérgio himself pointed out in the final review: "a transcription is always problematic, if corrected too much, it sounds too false, and if corrected too little, it reveals all the flaws of speech."
